TELETHON

This week is filled with Telethon goodness, I am producing the Nova Scotia Home for Colored Children for Eastlink TV. We had our first pre-tape on Tuesday which went really well besides a couple of minor difficulties, even difficulties that don't involve the pre-tape.

A 14 year old break dancer needed air so I brought him outside, so he cooled down and we began to walk inside when I hear a looming voice at the top of the stairs. It was the NSCC security guard and he says to me, "If I ever catch you smoking outside one more time, you won't be allowed on theses premises ever again!" I was thinking to myself, WHAT IS THIS GUYS PROBLEM. I'm with a kid, if I wanted to smoke (which I don't fyi) I would get the hell away from the school. So I said to him, "He's 14, I go to school here...I don't smoke." He came close to me to attempt at smelling the "smoke" on me but to no evail, he was wrong. I walked back to the studio in awe of what just happened.

Back to current news, I am producing again tonight more pre-tapes, which i'm really excited about. We will have rappers, a dance group, and a singer. It should be fun as always.

Melissa Munroe is actually producing the CTV Christmas Daddies, which will be exciting, and I get to direct!!! Yippie....I mean YAY! I'm really excited to direct, I love it so. If directing was a profession I would....wait a minute.

So I got an internship at CTV maritimes, and it should go along great. I wonder what they will get me to do there. I also have plans coming up for my next internship. Might be getting away from this city and into another one!! Hopefully interning into film but who knows.

Well I'm off to work, got a lot to do before pre-tape!!
